9/11 AmericaXRussia.

Russia kept his face on the road when he said. "I will...герой" He said, not really wanting to have America know what that meant. It would be his little thing with America. He smiled at him and went a bit faster, wanting to get to Alaska as quick as he could. Alaska was good, he could manage his home and than be back with America and his baby in only about a hour. He wanted to stay with them, for ever and always. He winced a bit, if America left...if the baby got taken away... He shivered. He still cared about everyone that would stand to talk to him, and he knew what it felt like to not have them feel the same. But America and his baby were entirely a different story. He would hurt, kill and make anyone suffer if they dared to touch America or his baby. He smiled softly, Im refering to her as my baby, now He noticed

America didn't know what Russia had said to him in Russian, but he was too tired to ask. His sugar high from the sodas was wearing down and he was crashing. He leaned his head on the glass as the sound of the car driving and the baby's soft snoring lulled him to sleep. He usually got attached to things, but not so much people. He would cry over a video game that was broken more than finding out his neighbor was beaten. He worried over Russia and the baby, but getting and running away was the most he could do at this point. He felt sort of useless, while Russia drove he was there sleeping and even after he took care of the baby he still had to take care of Alfred. He was pretty much the only one who could deal with him and not get annoyed. Russia had been dealing with him since they became friends.

Russia smiled at America for one last second before speeding back off in to the night.

Russia's eyes focused again and he saw the sun burning the sky and the hills of Alaska. He saw the bright lights of a city in the distance. He had passed through a ton of time zones and could tell that it was about 3:00, the sun rising because of the city being so close to the top of the earth. He put a hand over to America. He pressed on to his gut. "America, Come on, America,,,wake up..." He said tiredly. Still even now, the baby was sound alseep on America and he smiled. The city was still frozen, (literally and figuratively). He winced seeing that. He wondered if he should wake America up or not. He continued driving.

America moved his face from the window since it got very cold from the temperature change. He snored at his 'minimum' but that was still pretty loud with some drool at the side of his mouth, he was no sleeping beauty. He hugged the baby close as he subconsciously felt the temperature drop. He groaned as Russia told him to wake up, "Mfhmf." he said.

He smiled at America. "Come on and get up~ We are in Alaska now, Come on and get upp~" He said softly, not caring, but not knowing where the safe house was ether. He slowed down and leaned over, kissing America for a second and licking the line of droll of of his cheek. "Come on, Wake up~" He giggled and looked at him. He put a hand on the baby's back. He was going to let her sleep, but America had to wake up now.

America groaned again a the Russian told him to get up, and waved him off. He felt cold, and shifted and put the baby under his coat. Then Russia kissed him and licked the drool off of the side of his mouth and his eyes snapped open and blood rushed to his face. "Good morning to you too." he smiled over at him, once the blush was gone, "Shit it's cold." he said as he felt the babies warmth, "We're gonna have to get her a blanket or something." he looked around from the car and said, "Take a left and go all the way down and you'll get to a forest area then take the first 'road' you see."

Russia 1/2 smirked at America at how he reacted. He pulled off his coat again and set it over America and the baby. He smiled at them, Americas shirt still being to tight. He followed America's directions and the city died away again, melting in to a forest. He looked around for the road and turned on to a dirt path. He drove and dove to the end where a small, modest house stood. Even though it was September, the sky was clouded and small snow flakes fell on to the car. He stopped the car in front of the house. He pushed his coat more over the baby and then got out, walking, or tumbling to the house. He had driven the entrie 16 hours with not a second of sleep. He had dark under his eyes and looked at America, wanting him to hurry and make sure that the tiny baby didnt get to cold

America was about to protest in giving the coat, but the baby needed it more and he could just move his pride aside. He wrapped the baby in the coat and saw that the coat was heavy, wondering how the hell Russia could lug that thing around. They stopped and he got out of the car. Who knew Alaska could be so cold, in September! America laughed, "You look like shit, you're gonna go straight to bed m'kay? I don't want you to pass out on the floor or something." making sure he didn't fall, while holding the baby close.

Russia didn't protest the idea to go to sleep. He walked in and looked around, it was a soft and neat home. The cleaness of it told him that America had not been there in a while. He serched rooms for one with a bed. He got to the first on and crashed on the bed, being asleep the seconds his head in his pillow. He let out a releaved sighed and fell alseep. He sat, breahting soft and sleeping quitly

America walked into the house and looked around, it was cold, not the temperature, just the way it felt, he would break it in and make it home. He smiled as he held the sleeping child, what if she started crying. He stopped in his tracks, Russia was asleep and he just drove for 16 hours he didn't want to wake him up. He dashed over to the computer, which by the way was very slow. And waited for it to turn on as he held the baby, he would just have to look it up. He sat in the chair but then was distracted by games instead of researching.

Russia smiled in his sleep and twisted the covers in and out of his arms neck, and legs. He was a self-contained furnace so he was plenty warm. It was a bit odd though, even in his sleep, he had some scene of awake. Like a dream, but this dream was about real life. He dream of the day that he sold gave America Alaska. He though that the land was worthless, and ended up selling Alaska 10c a mile to America. He winced in his sleep. Then the cold war came in to his mind. If he had been just a little more nice, not mean to America, it could have been avoided... No, it was Americas fault that his family hates him now and he has no hope of doing anything about America anymore. America needs to give the world premonition to be above him, and Russia was no expectation. He shifted, What the hell did I just do? He asked himself, America was a dangerous allie

America held the baby as he play pac man and then a thought came to his head. Why Russia? He stopped playing, and looked down at the sleeping baby, why was he doing all of this? He remember when Russia supported Nazi!Germany and then turned his back, which meant he wasn't faithful. What were they considered? Dating? Lovers? He didn't know. The Cold War, he hated it, he disliked Russia so much during that time, thinking about it now, the hate towards the nation was pretty stupid, but it just came along with the feelings of the people in his country. What was he thinking? He and Russia would be okay. He got up with the baby, maybe it was his nerves again, the people were all mourning and he just needed something to keep his mind preoccupied. He got up, he didn't usually cook, he never cooked, but wwhen he did, it was edible and pretty okay.

Russia winced in his sleep again. His range of though shifted from one this to another. He shifted, the place he saw turning from his soviet home, to the gray room, with nothing, no door, no anything, no...life. His dream self tried getting up, and was puled back down, only then did he know what this place was. He whimpers in to his sleep. This was one of the rooms they held American spys during the cold war. His dream self started to panic, sobbing and crying just the like Americans did after moths in the room. He watched the place, unable to get away from it. The dream Russia pulled on the chains,, cutting his wrist and the main vain on his arms. Blood drops rolling down the chains and falling on to the floor. He wached this happen. Himself being tortured. He shook and kicked in his sleep. He watched a man with a gun walk in to the room.

"You will not submit?"
He cried softly in to his sleep as his dream body nodded no. The man looked at him, a small smile crossing his lips. He held the gun on to his forehead. He turned his head up and laughed out loud before pulling the trigger. But when he saw the shooter again, he was blond, the gun was a revolver, and the laughing man was America.

Russia shot up. Panting and braking in a cold sweat. He looked around, still horrfied and paniced at his dream.

America nervously paced around the house, unable to keep his nerves still. He wan't hungry, so what the point of making food? He held the baby with Russia's coat, who's scent was lingering and he smiled at the familiar smell. He walked and heard noises coming from a room. He stopped in his tracks and faced the door, Russia was probably asleep, but he sounded, upset? He cracked the door open and whispered, "Russia?" and saw him shoot up from the bed. He didn't say anything and said a bit confused, "Russia? You okay dude?" did he have a nightmare, they were technically lovers right? What the hell did lovers do after nightmares, wait! He was still an available bachelor! But it was still his duty as a hero to make sure he was okay, he stayed by the door and had a gun in a hostler which he had with him at all times, what kind of American was he if he didn't carry a gun with him wherever he went?

Russia winced when America came in. He still shivered and shook though, he put his hand up and pushed his bangs up and out of his eyes. He glaced down at the gun. "A..America....I..I'm fine..." He still was panicking lightly still. He twisted his own neck, looking at eye thing in the room. He swore that he could feel a pain in his head. He could tell by the wet on his cheeks and face that he was crying in his sleep. He sighed unsteadily. "Im fine, Im fine, Im fine" He said, mainly to himslef and not as much America. He felt the pain his his head only increase in his head. That was what the Americans the held felt, they were beatned, taken away from there homes, and eveutaly shot. His breath still hiched, only more proving his idea that he had been crying. He looked up at America. For being fine, it sure didn't look like it. He didn't say anything though. He fell back on the bed. Still panting and glacing at the gun, a new fear of it.

America held the baby and stepped into the room, he looked into the Russia's eyes and they were red around the edges. He frowned and said, "Why were you crying?" steeping closer to the Russia and he heard his breath hitch, was it a nightmare that made him like this. He said, "Something's bugging you and you don't look okay, tell me what's wrong, or I'll have to force it outta ya." he said the last part with a lighter and more humorous tone and chuckled a bit.

Russia winced at the last part of Americas words. "u..um.....I must have been...crying in my sleep..." He looked down on to his shirt. He looked back up at the baby and saw the look the baby was giving him. He let his breath hitch more, in trade for stopping himself from crying. His voice sounded like a sheet of sand paper. "I..Im....ah....ok..." He said looking up at the ceiling. He continued glancing at the gun. ".....force me?" He asked, the dream was to real, to fresh in his mind. He had done that before, he had wached the spys suffer and he had shot them, but that long ago...it seemed unreal. He pulled his knees to his chest

America sat on the side of the bed and chuckled, "I can tell that much, but why were you crying, bad dream?" he raised an eyebrow. He heard the hitch again and he fetl a pang of guilt, he didn't think he did anything but he didn't like to see Russia like this, how to comfort him? He scooted closer to him as Russia continued to say he was okay he smiled sadly, "You wanna talk about it or do you just wanna hug?" he then heard the last part of the joke he made earlier and waved it off and said, "I was kidding, you don't have to tell me, but I wanna know what the hell made you cry."

Russia wached America get closer, letting him, but being a bit warry. He tired to smile, but just could not smile. He grabed America, pushing him on to his chest and the baby rolling off, crawling around the bed and over him and America. He could feel the wet of his skin. "A.h....you have to promise not to not be mad if I tell you" He said unsurly. He put his hand on the hun on Americas said, not letting go of it. The metal seemed to burn him in his mind. He sighed looking up. He looked at America, and fliped him to stratle his gut. He whiped his eyes and cotinued looking up at America before he asked. "What are we? Lovers? Freinds? Dating?" He asked, windering how much this relly ment for America.

America caught on on how Russia's eyes shifted to his hip, that's where the gun was. He yelped when he was pushed onto the Russian's chest and his face flushed at how close they were and he was staring into the mysterious violet eyes still a bit red from crying. Then he asked him what they were and honestly, he wasn't sure. He looked away from his gaze still blushing a bit from the close contact and said, "I....I don't know....lovers?I guess since we do..ya know...love each other."

Russia genualy smiled and kissed America. "Da..." He said, put the smiled died. "I dont know what happend, but this is why I was crying..." He started. He closed his eyes, and winced, he could still see the scean, taste the blood, see the shot to his head all to real like. He kept his eyes closed, tighting his grip on America the longer and more in detail he went in to. He could decribe the bullet riping his skull open and went ever more in to that. He siltnly started crying again, eyes still closed the tears rolled down his neck. He didn't make any crying sounds being to busy talking..

America was surprised by the kiss but kissed back and shook his head no, that he wouldn't get mad at what Russia would say. He listen curious as to why Russia was crying. He listened to the graphic details of the dream and realized that they were talking about the Cold War, he continued to listen feeling guilt, he didn't think the war would scar Russia so bad. He wrapped his arms around the Russian's chest and said his voice a bit muffled by Russia's chest and said, "But it's all okay now, no more bullets, no more torture.....I-I'm sorry."

Russia stoped talking. He looked down at Americas eyes, still crying slightly. "Its ok..." He didnt know rather to say this or not. "Becuase I worked in one of the camps, I watched this happen, and now I got to start to fell what they did": He said, saying they instead of Americans. He continued to hold America, he was the thing that conforted him, always. He tried smiling. "You have never done any wrong to me, America, I love you" He said a bit more quitly then before

America blushed as he was told that Russia loved him, why, because it was the first time he had actually said it. He has done Russia so much damage, broke his family, but he hated communism that much to hurt Russia by trying to save the day. He said, "I-I love you too big guy."

Russia held America tightly for a long time after that, the baby carlwed in Americas back and rested, waiting for somthing to happen. He smiled at America though. "It scares me when the pople I love..." He kissed America after the word love. "leave me, even though I hope it will never happen." He giggled at America "Im told that I get to atached to quikly..." He said, glacing at the baby
